For Venue Hosts
Listing a private event space on Vynue — how address privacy works, setting capacity, deposits and pricing, and when you get paid after an event.
Last updated
If you have a loft, a studio, a bar, or a private room that people rent for events, you can list it here. Most of the platform works the same way it does for partners — this page covers what is different.
Your address stays private
Listings show an approximate map pin, never your street address. The exact address is released to the client only once the booking is confirmed, and it is visible to them and to you.
This is the default and it is not something you have to configure. If you want your address public, that is your choice to make in the listing description — but nothing exposes it for you.
Deposits are larger by default
Venues default to a 50% deposit, against 25% for talent, because a held date costs you more — one booking usually rules out every other booking that day.
You can set yours anywhere between 10% and 50%. Whatever it is at the moment a client books is locked to that booking.
The balance is charged automatically seven days before the event.
Listing your space
- Create an account and choose the venue host role.
- Add the space — photos, capacity, pricing, minimum booking length, and your address (kept private, used for the approximate pin).
- Connect your payout account. Clients cannot book you until it is active.
- Get verified. A person reviews the listing before it goes live.
You can list more than one space under one account, each with its own calendar, rate and availability. A booking on one does not block the others.
Capacity, pricing and minimums
- Capacity is what the space is listed for. Set it honestly — a listing described at one capacity and pictured at another is the second most common reason verification stalls.
- Pricing can be hourly, daily, or a fixed package. Pick what matches how your space is actually used.
- Minimum booking length is enforced before payment, so you never receive a request below it.
Say what is included: sound, furniture, parking, alcohol policy, cleaning, access times. Most venue disputes come down to something a client assumed was included. Answering it in the listing costs you nothing.
Requests and confirmations
Clients request a date and their card is authorised. You have 24 hours to accept before the request expires and the authorisation is released. Turn on Instant Book if you would rather accept automatically and manage your calendar directly.
Block dates you cannot host. Blocked dates and recurring days off are both enforced, so a client cannot request a date you have closed.
Getting paid
After the event, both sides confirm it went well. If both do, you are paid immediately; otherwise the payment releases 72 hours after the booking ends. A reported problem freezes it for review.
The client pays exactly your listed rate — Vynue's platform fee is deducted from your payout after the event, not added to what the client pays.
See Payments & Deposits.
Cancelling
When a host cancels, the client is refunded everything they paid, whatever policy you publish, and you bear the card processing fee — recovered from your next payout. Block a date rather than accepting and cancelling it later.
